As a Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist at IGW, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our social media and marketing strategies. You will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content, manage social media platforms, and support various marketing initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Social Media Management: Create and curate engaging content for our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Develop a social media calendar and schedule posts to maintain a consistent online presence. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers to ensure excellent customer engagement.
  2. Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop high-quality and engaging content for social media platforms, blog articles, email newsletters, and other marketing collateral. Ensure content aligns with the brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines. Leverage storytelling techniques and creative visuals to captivate our target audience.
  3. Social Media Advertising: Assist in planning and executing social media advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness, reach, and conversions. Monitor ad performance, analyze key metrics, and optimize campaigns based on insights and objectives.
  4. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media and marketing metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms, and other relevant tools. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
  5. Online Community Management: Build and nurture an active and engaged online community around our brand. Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand advocates, and strategic partners to expand our reach and increase brand loyalty. Monitor online conversations and participate in relevant discussions to maintain a positive brand reputation.
  6. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media and marketing strategies. Conduct market research and gather insights to identify opportunities and recommend innovative approaches to engage our target audience effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, or LinkedIn Ads.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and report on social media and marketing metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt content to different platforms and target audiences.
  • Creativity and a passion for storytelling through compelling visuals and written content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
